Only forty kilometers from Zagreb, right in the middle of Hrvatsko Zagorje, between beautiful green hills, the most magnificent hill is located - “Vuglec Breg”.

It is located in the area of the town of Krapina, in the picturesque village of Škarićevo, only 4 km far from Zagreb - Macelj highway, and with the same distance to the thermal bath, Krapinske Toplice.
“Vuglec Breg” is spread on more than 12 hectare and as much it captures with its abundance of nature and its beauty, it also unselfishly offers a stunning sight from the top of the hill on the whole area and other Zagorje hills. 
“Vuglec Breg” originated from the foundations of the old Zagorje village Vugleci. Today, the renovated settlement consists from the four Zagorje houses, restaurant, wine cellar, gazebo with the bread oven and grill. In order to better portray the Zagorje tradition we have renovated the old wells, which were used as a water supply, as well as old Zagorje traditional house that we named after the former owner “Imbra”. We offer countless paths and ways, all of them surrounded by vineyards, orchards, forests and grasslands for the admirers of long, refreshing walks in the fresh air.
